There was a recent story about the ballistics tests that could not directly prove which weapon was used by Tyler Robinson in the Charlie Kirk case. Obviously, it drummed up a lot of the conspiracists online about the exact details of the crime and whether there was a coverup. But at least there ARE ballistics, there IS an investigation.

This led to the obvious question: why the heck didn't the FBI ever release any information about the investigation surrounding Trump's attempted assassination in Butler, PA? No ballistics? I heard they interviewed 1,000 people, but they never updated the public about what happened? There was a separate congressional investigation that was released but they were stonewalled by the FBI the whole time.

Kash Patel said that the investigation of Trump's attempted assassination was "one of the largest mobilizations of FBI resources in history that, frankly, continued to this day" and yet the status of that investigation is currently listed as "pending, inactive" at the Bureau. Weird.

This shows that, despite claims by this administration that it is the most transparent administration in history, they are really perhaps the most opaque administration ever.

Lol thanks I thought this thread was doomed for inactivation without a response.

A president was "shot" and there's no public report of the investigation but no one is worried. A random conservative podcaster is shot and there's an uproar. Trump attends his funeral. There's a real investigation.

No one thinks it's weird that we know next to nothing about what happened in Butler PA? We know more about the kids of the real housewives than we know about the guy who "shot" trump!!
