I couldn't help noticing they've got Uruguay for "World Cup Wins". Not since 1970, it isn't. I wonder if the rest is as accurate?

Edit: forget that, they must be all per capita.

here's the original site, probably; hovering over the map will pop up the country names:

Yes, I saw it after I posted.

When I initially saw the link my screen resolution was too low to tell which countries those boxes referred to.

    Serial killers, eh?

There's nothing a bit more benign like movies or websites or tv shows that the US is #1 at? Oh well... 😕

Oh crap. I thought "Televisions" was Los Angeles.

I guess I'm stuck with the rest of you serial killers. We did provide more than our share I suppose. Charles Manson and crew, Richard Ramirez...

Zodiac killer (SF), Zodiac killer (NY), Son of Sam, DC Sniper, etc.

Yeah; we've had our fair share.

we've been all over that with Stang! remember him?

the idea of US as leading the world in serial killers is due to more stringent reporting by law enforcemnt and news media.

    i.e., sampling bias.
