EDIT: Knight: " The world community is silent on Israeli nukes, there's the root cause of this problem ..... "

.... mmmmmm ...... the root cause ?
History: The US developed nukes, the USSR followed. India, then Pakistan. Israel, then who? It's a familiar pattern, not too different from countries in the last century building ever larger battleships, tanks, guns etc to restore the "balance of power"
I'd like to see similar pressure brought on Israel to give up its nukes so that Iran would not have an excuse (or at least one less) to have these weapons.

It would be nice if the negotiations between the European Three and Iran would end in a situation acceptable to the World Community in general and the major players on the stage in particular. I'm afraid this will not be the case. I'll explain.

The Euro Three are offering Iran possibilities to obtain nuclear equipment and installations that will ensure ...[text shortened]... egional powers, should give garantees for Irans safety.

Not an easy mission to accomplish.
Ivanhoe let the cat out of the bag: it's all about the NPT? Check this out:

but I think an agreement could be reached if Iran would refrain from the possibilities to develop nuclear weapons, improve the human rights situation and implement basic democratic reforms. At the same time ALL the major world powers, the US, UK, France, Germany, Russia and China, and the regional powers, should give garantees for Irans safety.

How about throwing some extra conditions in regarding the internal affairs of Iran? And the UN Charter already requires all countries to "peaceably settle disputes" why would UN member states have to "guarantee" Iran's safety IF Iran did X,Y and Z? Aren't they already required to by that Treaty?

Interesting, eh?

It's starting to look like Iraq deja-vu except the Iranis surely realize opening their facilities to UN inspectors is no assurance they won't be invaded anyways.
