The carve up can't be too far away?

Invasion plans for Iran must have been formulated by now. If Russia and China are bedfellows with this plan, the invasion will have to be decisive so that their oil can be accessed quickly and efficiently.

Oil is the key obviously. A few hudred thousand deaths to attain this indispensible resource is chicken feed compared to sustaining big industries for the next century or so.

China especially needs oil, it will die without it.

Attack? Don't be ridiculous. There won't be any war, and all the top countries know it. A hundred tousand deaths? Such an attack would have disasterous consequences, death in the millions. There are 70 million people in Iran, you think they'll take being invaded lying down? This is PRECISELY why Iran needs a nuclear program: because then they wouldn't be bullied as much and they would feel secure.

In any event, the oil market in Iran would be destroyed more than used if invaded.

Imagine if the billions of dollars spent invading Iraq were spend on research into alternative sources of energy ?!!!!?

I meant deaths on the Allies sides. Yes the Iranians will probably lose millions. "Don't be ridiculous", I like that rhetoric, I think Blair used that saying quite a lot in the lead up to the Iraqi invasion!

They need it so that they aren't always told what to do. There won''t be a war in any event, but in the long run they need the technology.

I was talking about deaths on the Allies side as well. Yes, many millions of Iranians would die in any war with the U.S. and Isreal and Russia and China, if all of theses countries cooperate. But the Allies would also pay in the millions as well. You underestimate Iran, you forget that Iran has survived hardships thousands of years. They are advancing technologically, and they have strong weapons which they had to develop for precisely this reason.

Also, PLEASE don't compare me to Blair. The difference being 1. unlike him, I have intelligence to some degree, as well as 2. I'm usually right.

I didn't mean to be arrogant or anything. I guess I got a little carried away. But it really bothers me that no on ever even considers that they just might be wrong-- they remain clueless and stubborn. I wish people would be a little more open-minded to new ideas.

That's fair enough, considering some of the ignorant nonsense some of the right wing eejits on this site post.

The main source of ignorant nonsense emanates from the unemployable dropouts who indulge in communist fantasies whilst eating by courtesy of the capitalists who pay for the State 'benefits' they gladly receive.
