Also its not about Trump. All US presidents have supported Israel since 1948, and the reason is that the Jewish lobby in the US is powerful, and chances are good it will remain so.

Israel attacked Egypt and stole Gaza Strip and Sinai Desert;
Israel attacked Jordan and stole West Bank and East Jerusalem
Israel attacked Syria and stole Golan Heights, and finally,
Israel attacked Lebanon and stole Shebaa Farms.

If a real threat is why you invade a country Trump would be invading North Korea, not Iran. This is why Iran should try to get nukes. it is the only way to prevent being invaded.

And that clearly is the politics to the bomb. If Iran really had the bomb, the Israeli led attack on Iran cannot happen.
And the converse, Since Iran does not have the nuke bomb, Israel can attack Iran.
