STANG seems to take the view that, whatever the cost to him and however many messages he gets saying his repetitive posts are tiresome, it doesn't matter as long as he is getting his viewpoint in the public eye.
I would disagree.
Because his posts are so repetitive, I imagine most people simply ignore them. Of the minority who don't, most are probably ill-disposed towards his viewpoint because they associate it with a spammer who may or may not be borderline psychotic.
Those who agree with him are probably embarrassed to be associated with his methods; those who disagree probably see his methods as confirming their prejudices against the left-wing anti-war movement.
Either way, it is not conducive to debate.
Any thoughts?
