trump does feel emotions and does jave a conscience. His ego is his problem. It is severely damaged and he does everything possible to protect it. Hence the constant lying without blinking an eye.
He cannot admit to being wrong. So the truth has to fit that which supports him being correct. All the time.
This is narcissim type-2 (type-1 being people like stalkers; different subject for a different thread).
Sociopaths copy people and emotions, so they blend in. They do what they think is correct. So, should they get caught out in a lie, they use the most effective means of parrying the problem that they’ve witnessed.
And if you’re caught on camera lying, totally lying about that ever happening isn’t in anyone’s top way of managing anything effectively…

I don't think Trump has a conscience. I think he is a narcissist sociopath at MINIMUM.
He thinks ONLY of himself, and what can he squeeze from those around him, no conscience that I see, he NEVER takes blame, ALWAYS blames ANYONE else but himself for the vast panoply of corruption he used. Like 'But we would like a favor THOUGH' Which led to his FIRST impeachment and of course the gutless spineless so called repub senators didn't care WHAT he did since they consider him above the law ALREADY crowned King Trump by those worthless imitations of real senators.
