Is entrepreneurship the wave of the future?

Many older workers are choosing to start business's rather than try to find jobs. This idea is beginning to catch on with those in their 20's and 30's as well. This is driven by the shakey economy and the fact that folks like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Mark Zuckerberg have become an inspiration to many by skipping college and starting their own business's. An old idea made possible with today's technology. So...is entrepreneurship the wave of the future?
