Why would you blow up a beaver dam and what happens to the beavers ?
It is quite a good balance. A few dams per year. No dead beavers. (you scare them upstream just by your activity). And the beavers have a reason to go on living. To rebuild their world that you just 'blew up'.
That's the way nature should work. Us "big ass" human bad guys competing for a resource. We... in control of "awareness and consciousness" (welll....errrr... on rare occasion) willing to do what we must to survive yet granting the dumb rodent the joy of purpose. To "build a dam and have kids". This is how us "redneck" cowboys have always done it. Compared to the commie solution. "Shoot the Beavers! They are not True Believer Citizens Comrade! Shoot them!"
