Any rule, whether organisational or biblical, does not get to the heart of church conflict. That's why the New Testament requires that church leaders be Spirit-filled(controlled) men who have a reputation for godliness(1 Tim.3:1-13).To meet these qualifications, they must have far more than a knowledge of church policy or biblical law.Their hearts must have been broken by their own sin and changed by the grace and love of God.
Churches Leaders must be friendly Service.

I agree with it Windmill. I think it’s a great point that too many churches over look. Well said, and thanks for the verse.

Thanks for staying out of it. I wish more of your like minded friends would follow your example. Good point though. This should be debated in the spirituality forum.

i don't see what is spiritual about it....all i see is power-trippin Christians trying to justify their own wrongs.

There is no doubt in my mind christianity (which should really
be called Paulianity) got started on baldfaced lies and the lies
continue to this day. Not that I am singling out christianity here,
most if not all the rest of the so-called religions like islam
are based on the same kind of lies. If you don't think so, just look
at David Coresh, Pat Robertson, such nice guys. Then there is
Scientology, mormonism, jehovas witnesses, they will claim to actually
be spiritual when the truth is they are 99% interested in growing
their power base and MAYBE, 1% actually interested in true
spirituality.
