I may be late to the party, but I just watched the Daily Show episode where he gets grilled by Jon Stewart and it is sweeeet.

I bet the bigwigs at CNBC got pissed off and had him go to other shows and try to save face.

I saw the exchange and I kinda felt sorry for Cramer. Granted, he kinda asked for it and it revealed a few skelatens in his closet, but it was sad in that he was attacking someone who was and is not part of the problem. Cramer is just someone who knows how to play the game. He didn't make the rules, he just tries to use the rules provided to make money and to show others how to do so. If not, why is he publically saying the things he was shown to be saying? If not, he would only utter how things work behind closed doors. If nothing else, Cramer helps shine a light into the whole underbelly of the Stock Market and the thing to come away with is that it is really all a game. I suppose it is the one thing that Jon simply could not accept, however, it is the truth. It has nothing to do with Cramer. Having said that, deep down I think that Jon knows this, but hey, who else can he take his frustrations out on?

If my memory serves me, Stewart asked when are we going to get away from the idea that this is all a big game and that money is earned from hard work.

Someone once said, "He who lives by the sword, dies by it." Do you have a problem with that concept?

What Steward did was Journalism. Sometimes people don't like having to explain themselves, but sometimes they have to. It's not unfair what Stewart did at all.

Jon Steward told Cramer that it wasn't about him. Cramer was just the one who so vociferously challenged Jon Stewart after he went after CNBC in the first place.
It was about the fact that the people on CNBC claim to be experts on the market, but they don't provide real journalism when it comes to their market news.
You even say that Cramer is "playing the game". Well, Jon Stewart was calling him out for playing the game and he was right to do so. It's a shame journalists don't and it took a comedian to do it.
