But when the president of the US says something like "maybe inject your self with disinfectant just might work. Or maybe ultra-violet light.'
And then stare down Deborah Birx, who was just squirming in her chair hoping the floor would swallow her up.

There were enough people in the US actually trying this out. I recall there were some fatalities from this.
One requirement of a half decent President is to understand that anything you say will be taken seriously by much of the general public.
Trump has broken this guideline over and over and over again.
This guy wouldn't last a month as a CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation.

And there are about thousand different disinfectants so if some ijit did this, we're better off without them. This is like saying put fuel in your car. Jet fuel? They just did it on their own initiative and Trump shirks responsibility for it.

Yes he has the ability to suggest and influence without ever stepping over the line into legal jeopardy. It is a skill of sorts! Not one you want to be on the receiving end of especially when you’re owed money, but it is a skill nevertheless.
