Turning Republican is always a disaster for their constituency, except maybe in NC.
And West Virginia. Joe Manchin should turn Republican instead of lying about being a Democrat. Actually, I see he's an independent now, too.
Oh, and Sinema joined the Republican Party in voting once they got their hooks in her with massive donations to her campaign, which she then decided to take that money and run, instead of running again in Arizona. She screwed Democrats so badly that Reuben Gallego would have trounced her in that contest. Now he's running against opportunist Kari Lake. Sinema is done in Arizona. The only chance she has in politics is to pull a Boebert and move to where they haven't heard about her disrespecting her constituents. Oh, and to 'fess up and run as a Republican. As long as she doesn't do it here.

Because both parties were well aware that there was nothing changing the minds of trump voters. The only trump vote lost with this conviction would have been cast by trump himself (because he's no longer eligible).

So why would democrats go through all the trouble filing charges, gathering evidence , parading witnesses etc. just to change nothing. Makes no sense.
Unless the goal was simply to prosecute crime. Nothing backfired because the demon rats never fired a shot.

Gee, it just COULD have been because there was a crime against the American voters by withholding news that could have changed the course of American history from the POS governing Trump did to something would have been way different, even if Hillary did nothing for those four years, she CERTAINLY would have
jumped on the Covid crisis like in Fluking JANUARY not eight months of doing nothing and it was Fauci who pushed the fast work on the vaccine.
Trump has hundreds of thousands of deaths on his tiny hands because of his incompetence dealing with the Covid crisis, he goes 'I didn't want to cause panic' and THAT is not leadership, that is total governmental laziness and it was worse than that because now we found out one big reason he played down the Covid crisis, he has stock in competing big Pharm companies and didn't want to lose money when Pfizer and Moderna got the vaccine going.
Incompetence followed by yet another avenue of corruption.
