Kim Kardashian: Baby gender and placenta eating revealed in one doctor visit

Kim Kardashian revealed a lot more than just her baby's gender on the Season 8 premiere of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" Sunday night (June 2). She also revealed she wants to eat her placenta, an after-birth practice becoming more and more common.

Interestingly, rather than wondering about the benefits of combating postpartum depression or increasing milk production (which placenta-eating is thought to help, though there isn't much scientific evidence to back this up), Kim thinks she has found a homemade fountain of youth.

"Don't you think it makes you younger?" asks Kim. "I really want to do it."

Mom Kris Jenner looks visibly grossed out, though the doctor does remind her that there are whole cookbooks dedicated to placenta preparation now.

Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian tells MTV News that the baby gender reveal was something both Kim and Kanye agreed should be a part of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

"They both mutually agree on obviously what they want to have on the show or not. ... We have opened up so much of our lives, so I think it's only natural. And I'm excited. I'm excited for everyone to find out so I can stop holding in information," says Khloe.
