King Charles to receive huge pay rise from UK taxpayers

King Charles III is to receive a huge pay rise from the UK taxpayer, according to government plans to boost public funding of the monarchy by 45% from 2025.

Details of the increase, which comes against the backdrop of a cost of living crisis, were contained in a review of royal funding published by the Treasury on Thursday. It revealed the royal family’s grant is due to increase from £86m to £125m.

The U.K. is at an 8% inflation rate, UK citizens are experiencing dramatic increases in cost of living, teachers and NHS employees are striking because they're not being paid enough....and the Royals are getting a pay raise when their net worth is around $28 billion.

How are the Royals are getting a pay raise? Who decided?

I think maybe the monarchy identified as the descendants of African slaves and demanded reparations. So as you well know
- personal identification is the key to the truth
- you cannot doubt a persons identity otherwise that is hate speech
- reparations is the only way to compensate descendants of slaves.

I say pay the people.

The monarchy, their estates, buildings and their activities and antics, draws millions of tourists from all over the world. Some people like celebrities, just like Americans. So if the people are bringing in money, they are entitled to share in it. Sounds fair to me. Many British low lifes would claim it is a waste of money but the truth is that the British Govt support for many of them is a waste of money. Many people who can work and help themselves do absolutely nothing in the UK and they get money to stay home, free healthcare, free education etc.

The monarchy brings in close to 2,000,000,000 pounds sterling every year into the British coffers. Here you are begrudging them a measly 39,000,000 pound increase. It tells a lot about your personality.

The tourists don't get to meet the monarchs, they take tours of places associated with them. The history of the monarchy would still bring in tourists whether the Royals continued having their titles or not.

If the Royals suddenly disappeared from earth UK tourism would not stop.

That pay raise is better spent on helping UK citizens.

Missing the point. The monarchy makes the money. Those UK citizens make nothing and many are lazy bums living off the state. Maybe it is some of those UK citizens who should suddenly disappear from the earth.

Again: the Royals are not needed for tourism. If you stripped away any remaining power and funding they have the history of the monarchy would still bring in visitors.

https://www.visitbritain.org/sites/default/files/vb-corporate/top_20_listings.pdf

The most visited site associated with Royals is the Tower of London, a place the Royals don't live at. The Tower brings in 10 times the number of visitors that Buckingham Palace gets per year.

The Royals aren't needed for tourism. You can eliminate the monarchy and still keep the buildings associated with it, while not wasting 500 million pounds a year in taxpayer money on people born into wealth.

Uhuh.

There are also millions of very hard working British people struggling to get by.

Tourism to the UK brings in. 125 billion pounds a year. Of that 500 million to 1.7 billion (figures vary greatly) is attributed to the royal family.

The point at hand is that the royal family are already exceedingly wealthy. They don’t need more money. Especially when there are a great many hard working people who can hardly get by.

It’s a wrong prioritisation of resources.

Since when pushing more money in to welfare is a good use of resources? The UK has one of the highest welfare expenditure as a % of GDP in the world and is already saturated with a bunch of lazy bums living off the state.

Matthew 25:42-46:

42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. 43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’

44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’

45 “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’

46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment

You really are a stupid man. This alone proves it:

Q : "What is the reason why blacks impregnate several women and leave them to go impregnate even more ? "

Vivify's Answer : Because of White Supremacy.

90% of these people who are living off the state are not charity cases. They are just lazy bums who do not want to work and produce nothing. The bible condemns laziness in the strongest possible language, to the point where it says if a man does not work he should not eat, and if a man does not provide for his family he is worse than an infidel.

Hard work and productivity are qualities that God considers to be good while laziness and living off the sweat of others are signs of evil people.
