A friendly RHP'er told me about these guys. They seem interesting but can they be trusted?
How do I know the people I'm loaning to are who they say they are? What happens if they decide not to pay me back?
I'm getting really bad vibes, similar to "We're a Christian charity, and Alexandra needs food...all we need is gas money to get it to her...and to fund my paycheck" or "I am from the Africa and I have millions of dollars but I need a kindly American to accept the money with only paying the transfer fee of very small $150."
I guess I can throw someone a twenty and see if I get it back...
You can look at each indivual loan recipient and from there it will show you the "loan partner" and you can check that loan partners performance and in some cases if that loan recipient has gotten loans from them before, their payment history etc.
Of course, if it's all unaudited, none of that info means much of anything at all.

They might have also borrowed locally and will have to repay those loans before some guy who winged them a 20 on the internet.

High risk, with very little payback, apart from a good feeling about yourself until you realise your money is gone for ever.
