The post that was quoted here has been removedLets do exactly what happened with COVID all over again...great idea. genetically modify it to infect human tissue from infected human tissue in a lab so we can "develop a vaccine". But instead of doing that, well just release it "accidentally" after we have helped it along in its viral evolution.

A flu pandemic is always something of a concern. The last one was in 2009, and it was especially nasty because it actually targeted younger people.
But let's not lose our heads. The potential for a bad flu season is not the end of the world.
This blog that came out today has a lot of facts about G4 EA H1N1 and related viruses. But it, too, makes clear that there is no need for panic -- at least, no more than usual.
