So, my son woke up in basic training today, wrote a letter to me addressed to Dad, which is what my son calls me. My neighbor's son calls him Dad, too. Do y'all? So, any way, they all mustered on the quadrangle and were told to no longer address their parents as mom and dad.
I am asking, how y'all would suggest that I speak to his CO? To ask him for special permission,, that my son be allowed to address me as Dad.?
Hey Sonhouse, you know, this sounds like something that a NKorean officer would dictate to his platoon. You rail on about dictatorship, and also democracy, a lot. Which of these most rreflects such a requirement? Or is it both?

I just watched Hegseth getting grilled. It is amazing how the peculiar Kane (Hillary's VP running mate) has all the characterkstics and appearnaces and demeanor as did the Tim Walz Camel's running mate. The same screechy face. Weird. Does your party have any real men?
For the Record, all of the Dems on the panel questioned matters of Hegseth's stance on female soldiers, and on his past history of marriages, sex and other such matters. They asked for a copy of his non-disclosure personal agreements!!!! Uhhh, the name of one implies that it is for NON disclusre. All faeries. All so fairy-like. Ha, one of the repubs said he had done affair before, made peace, and is still qualified for office. So, why not Hegseth?!
The repubs, on the other hand?? All about the job of a Sec of Defense, warring, meritocracy, which I mentioned yesterday, and how could he get rid of WOKE and DEI......such as that. Not his personal life other than the basics.
