Stang has just informed me via PM's that he has been banned from the forums. Sheesh, I wonder why? Conservative bias in RHP maybe?

I gave him a load of crap in his threads and thought his posts were mostly spam but I wouldn't have banned him from what I saw.
He never attacked me personally although I gave him good reason to. He didn't post nasty language either. I have to guess he was banned for spam or perhaps has a 'history' with the moderators that i'm not aware of.
Are bans permanent? or will he be reinstated at some future date?

Each person should perhaps have a forum contribution quota. That would keep spamming down.
