There hasn't been any global warming since 1998.

Obviously, a few months of local cool weather does nothing to disprove global warming.

Still, I would like to say that I'm enjoying the cool weather we've now had for about 2 straight years here (at least cool compared to the previous 10 years). And, if we can keep enjoying this cool wea ...[text shortened]... (22 C). Yesterday, I went for a noontime walk and it was 69 degrees (21 C). This is awesome!
did the GWC (global warming crowd) stop updating the temperature curves once we hit the last peak? was it in 2005?

any graphs on the wikipedia page on global warming with data after 2005?

any text?

Based on estimates by NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, 2005 was the warmest year since reliable, widespread instrumental measurements became available in the late 1800s, exceeding the previous record set in 1998 by a few hundredths of a degree.[9] Estimates prepared by the World Meteorological Organization and the Climatic Research Unit concluded that 2005 was the second warmest year, behind 1998.[10][11] Temperatures in 1998 were unusually warm because the strongest El Niño in the past century occurred during that year.[12]

And way down here in south Texas we just had our 20th day of 100+ degree temperatures this year and we are still in a drought. We are nearing major water use restrictions. The temperature in the Gulf of Mexico is at record levels.

Thats good to know. I'll keep that in mind if Texas secedes from the union and I have to make a decision to move down there.🙂 I worked in N. Dakota a few years ago, and it would usually get to 105 degrees every day. In the winter time it gets bitter cold. We would come in at night and our shirts were covered in salt. Salt was even forming through our leather boots.
