Small business owners FAFOs
Losing thousands of dollars because of tarrifs. Losing their workforce.
I have 0 sympathy for them. They voted for a maniac that TOLD them what he will do. Harm immigrants and harm small business owners. They still voted for him because they thought the orange turd's stupidity won't affect them. They don't deserve any sympathy and i hope the full force of capitalism smites them.

The owner of a Donald Trump-themed hamburger restaurant chain in Texas is facing deportation after immigration authorities under the command of the president detained him.
Roland Mehrez Beainy, 28, entered the US as “a non-immigrant visitor” from Lebanon in 2019 and was supposed to have left the country by 12 February 2024, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (Ice) spokesperson told the Guardian.

In 2022, Beainy told the Houston Chronicle he endured threats to have Trump Burger burned down when the first one opened its doors. But the brand had since gained a loyal following and a portion of its profits were set aside to aid Trump’s fundraising, Beainy said to the outlet.
“I would love to have [Trump’s] blessing and have him come by,” Beainy said at the time. “We’re hoping that he … sees the place.”
Oh no!!!
Anyway
@Zahlanzi saidThe parallels in life resonate from time immemorial. I know this is a debates forum not spirituality, but in the Book of Esther, Haman hates Mordecai so much he erects gallows to hang him, but the tables get turned and Haman is hung on his own gallows. Who said divine justice did not exist. BTW is this where we get the phrase hoisted by his own petard?

@kmax87 saidFunny though that MAGANUTS lean evangelical but probably would not see the irony.

@kmax87 saidit's not the same. haman plots to kill the jews. esther becomes the queen of the king of Persia and she convinces him to kill Haman instead.

it would be the same if haman ploted to kill the jews, if everyone knew he is trying to kill the jews but Mordechai tried his best to help Haman get in power, thinking "he doesn't mean to kill all the jews or if he does mean it, he won't kill me". And then Haman promptly kills Mordechai.
@Zahlanzi saidGood point but analogies are broad strokes, they dont always stand up to close scrutiny.

Though maganut hatred of the other has bit some of them badly. That's the parallel I see.
@kmax87 saidthe "I voted for the party of face eating leopards and now they are eating my face" is a better and well known analogy
