Netanyahu says he will visit New York despite Mamdani's threats to arrest him
On Wednesday, the Israeli prime minister said that he still plans on visiting New York, even though the future mayor has vowed to send police to enforce arrest warrants against leaders wanted for alleged war crimes by the ICC – including Netanyahu and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Hahahaha What a twerp!!!! he thinks he has the power to do that as a mayor of a city. Would the mayor of Defore, Alabama have the power to arrest Netanyahu if he comes to town!?!?!? Haha.
He would be violating regulations of the state department, he would be obstructing justice law, he would be subject to prosecution,! Hahaha

As the Mayor of NYC, I think Mamdani probably does have the authority, the means, and the responsibility to arrest and detain Netanyahu before handing him over either to the Feds (probably a bad idea during Trump's admin) or to international legal authorities.
And what difference would it make to you, AvgJoe? I imagine you live in a sparsely populated state in the interior where there's nobody but white Christians and some cows and chickens.

Sure he's likely win a showdown with Mamdani as long as Trump is President, but why stick a finger in Mamdani's eye? It's like when he went over Obama's head and addressed Congress.
Other than showing that you're a badass, what does it accomplish?
It's one thing when you're at home. But when you're a guest somewhere, the idea is to try to avoid giving the finger to your hosts.
I have major problems with Mamdani, especially when he he justified the hooliganism outside a NY synagogue in December (and, of course, I think his economic philosophy is madness). But why go out of your way to poke him in the eye? What's the point?
