What group of people is affected by the SAVE act differently than another group of people??
Tell us why such group would have some barrier stopping one from getting stuff online?

Mamdani has a new agency. Office of Community Safety. If you are on a subway and a guy is slashing around a razor blade, do you call a cop or do you go to his agency?
Who decides when police step in, when razor-man cuts a little agency-girl with a clipboard??
and what is this community he speaking of? Take New York City of 8 million people, what is the community.

The Office of Community Safety would dispatch civilian workers, instead of police, in non-criminal emergencies, such as seniors who fall and cannot get up, helping a wheelchair bound person down a flight of stairs or getting access to a restroom, transporting victims of sexual assaults to clinics etc. freeing the police to deal with violent crime. It has nothing whatsoever to do with "a guy slashing around a razor blade" That would be handled by the NY Police dept.

Once again, your ignorance is on display for all to see.

I've found the right wingers here really enjoy being ignorant and actual facts which contradict the ceaseless propaganda they consume makes no difference.

Uuuuh, the occasions that you list are not law problems. The police only deal in matters of law. So your response is unrelated to my post thank you very much. The police would have nothing to do with someone whose cat is up in a tree. But call out the community service!!!!
ONCE AGAIN YOU DISPLAY your ignorance!!! Did I say that right, Susieanne?

Wrong again; more than half of calls to NYC police involve non-criminal situations.https://patch.com/new-york/new-york-city/most-911-calls-nypd-not-crime-related-study-finds

I am not WRONG!!!! (here you fellers are again, fishing for nailable morsels). I am correct, Marauder, to once again bring you all along with facts. I just wrote that "police only deal in matters of law". That is a fact, you could google it , Nexis prob does not list facts which are that obvious, Nex assumes that we all know the law.

That wraps up this post. Write me again. Ask me a question. Libs pontificate, you the most, you do not inquire at all. You just tell and teeeeeaach.

PS> It is not our problem that the lib dem NYC administration sits back and watches their police settle matters like 'transporting victims of sexual assaults'!!!! Did everyone get this hidden innuendo, ......'sexual assaults'. Who, pray tell, commits the assaults that the OTHER police try to chase down?
I will leave that to the Forum . No one I know, I assure you. And if they catch the guy, I assure you, you will not know him. He's Not 'one of us.' Riiiiiggght?

Write me a question.

Why do you enjoy being ignorant and how come when presented with actual facts which contradict the ceaseless propaganda you consume do you chose to stay ignorant?.

There's no need for insults. We can disagree without that. My point is about proper allocation of roles – law-enforcement versus social services.
If anything, your point supports my point. If over half their calls are non-criminal, that suggests a system worth rethinking, not defending. Geez
Just for th3 record, as you in your angst throw 'ignorant' around a lot, disagreement does not equal ignorance.

You have presented me with NO actual facts contradicting propaganda. Tell us all what is the propaganda. Keep it within the confines of this topic please??

But you were and are ignorant.

Your first post stupidly believed that Mamdani's new agency was actually supposed to replace the NYPD in responding to violent crimes in progress. That was ignorant.

Then when it was pointed out how dumb that was and that people in the agency would only be used for non-criminal emergencies that now police are often called upon to handle, you denied that that ever happened. That was also ignorant.

And then when I presented evidence that, in fact, a majority of "emergency" calls to the NYPD are, in fact, not criminal in nature, you refused to accept this (I'm sure you didn't even open my link, did you?) while, as usual, trying to go off-topic on the first page in a thread you created.

So my question stands.

Purpose: To address the root causes of violence, handle specific 911 calls without police, and manage gun violence prevention.

What I wrote:
Mamdani has a new agency. Office of Community Safety. If you are on a subway and a guy is slashing around a razor blade, do you call a cop or do you go to his agency?
Who decides when police step in, when razor-man cuts a little agency-girl with a clipboard??
and what is this community he speaking of? Take New York City of 8 million people, what is the community.

My first sentence asks a question. No harm in that,,,,,curious at best
Next, I said police only deal in matters of law. I said that police ;'would have nothing to do with' the subject issues. So far, still curious?
Next, you LINK US that NYC cops get a lot of non-crime related. calls. No Kidding, Marauder!!! Snd here we thought People knew to only call on crime-related matters!! Jesus

THEN you go name calling ,,racking lib points!

Then you mention 'propaganda'. You lose that word like MB uses the word terrorism. zzzzzzz. Yoy say exactly NOTHING!

Then I write, civilly, the differences in roles of the two entities. True, that's it. You are caught at every corner. I then, civilly, suggest a rethinking of all the phone calls that should NOT be coming to police.

So, my posts stand. Yours seem to smack of a bit of imbalance, don't you think.? And my studied post here gels much better than your sonhouse-laced post.

If this is the case why can’t any of you answer questions. Maybe if your party appealed to everyone instead of a certain groups.

You say wrong, tell me what your party stands for, and policies that benefit everyone. Remember when your party got stomped? The dems used to be for the working people now look at you!

Donald Trump
Lip-biting Bill Clinton, JenniferFlowers, and the pitiful Paula Jones he assaulted in the hotel (brought to him by his secret service) to whom he had to pay $750k.
Score: Clinton 2
Trump 1

Cant believe i'm writing this, low level stuff. Point me the way back up to the top of the hole.

Because the questions are almost always the dumbest of the dumb.

I don't remember any "stomping".

You do remember that Trump did not receive a majority of votes and because of this, he never got the 'mandate' he claimed he got. Tell the Trumpublicans to climb down from your ivory tower. You guys are on track to lose the midterms in spectacular fashion. Every group (except his rock-solid white men group) who crossed over to vote for Trump in 2024 has expressed regret at doing so. Just be prepared for some high-pressure blowback (actions have consequences, who knew?) this election. Perhaps it's finally time for you fools to wake up and smell the coffee.
