South Korean president, Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law but nobody knows why and the parliament reversed it on a 190 for reversal and zero against.
So Yeol caved and stopped it.
Now it appears he may be impeached.

Martial law is a serious move.

He said it was to fight communism, whatever that means.

All world leaders need to pay attention to what happens there.

EDIT: He's Korean. His family name is Yoon. As in President Yoon.

It’s a fascinating story.
It’s like their president went psychotic, declared martial law (so, parliament is suspended) and parliament said no, while it was suspended, and their president ends martial law.

Obviously good on parliament, but what sort of shabby martial law outfit are they running over there??

Their laws say that Martial Law cannot impede their legislature from operating. And that if their legislature votes to end Martial Law, the president must end it, and he did.

No one stopped their legislators from entering the building and conducting a vote. Only 190 of 300 showed up, but it was enough for a quorum, and they were saying that they will move to impeach the president.
