I was much amused that ABC and 20/20 finally got around to admitting what everyone in Wyoming knew. Matthew was a Meth dealer. He wouldn't or couldn't sell to two of his regular customers. Too bad for him. The one guy had a baseball bat and took it personally.

Oh well. At least they got it right eventually. Now if those ten bus loads of gay folk from "Utopia West" would just get on their buses and doodle back over to Cheyenne and apologize for their hateful ways. Sigh. That would be good. Bet it never happens.

You're a totally sick, deranged man. NOWHERE IN THAT ARTICLE DOES IT SAY MATTHEW SHEPARD WAS A METH DEALER!!! A few of one of the killer's friends have suggested that they knew each other or even that they did drugs together, something the killers emphatically deny and which lacks a factual basis. Basically in the article the killers deny that they killed Shepard because he was gay and say they killed him because they wanted to rob him and he seemed an easy "mark". To me, that's 6 of one - one half dozen of the other. The same killers asserted at trial they killed Shepard because he made a homosexual advance to them, so their and their friends' credibility ain't much. You should get your goddamn facts straight before you post such ignorant bile.

Duh. You have to read more than one article. See the statements of the District Attorney. See the recantation of the main witness. See followup interviews of the people involved. I just gave you the starting point. I can't do everything for you. Say... aren't you a Lawyer?

Sorry. Nevermind. I Forgot. There is nothing in it for you.

<edit> for example... as 20/20 investigate the statement of the District Attorney who when asked why he didn't believe that it was a hate crime referred the reporters to several people who knew Shepard and claimed that he sold meth. Many people had seen the victim with the perp before that night From page 4...

"Another Laramie resident, Elaine Baker, says she also saw McKinney and Shepard together in a social situation. Several weeks before the murder, she spent a night on the town in Doc O'Connor's limousine with a group that included both McKinney and Shepard.

"In the back of the limo, there was me, Stephanie, Doc, Aaron, Matthew Shepard," she said.

<end quote>

Did you even see the 20/20 in question? It was quite apparent that ABC news was apologizing for really bad reporting. There is a lot of that going around right now. Hell, they even called the report "Mathew Shepard Revisited", not "No Doubt At All".

Well, I can find NO REFERENCE anywhere to either the
notion that Shephard sold or used drugs, except those
which refer to this piece of 'journalism.'

Perhaps, to support your statement, you can point me
in the direction of one, just one which antedates this
story.

And,

Review this site while your at it:

Debunk a few of those arguments with some people
without such dubious credibility and you might get my
attention.

And why would I want your attention? I am not the producer at 20/20. I am not the district attorney she talked about while hyping the show on Hannity and Colmes.

Your attention can stay on your thumb. Or whatever you like to suck.

Given that everything in the opening post, presented as
fact, is totally unsubstantiated except by people of
easily impeachable credibility, I have to conclude this
is the only reason for its existence is to get attention.

Trying to cash in on some chimp chips?

Sorry, that currency isn't good here.
