I watched with mild surprise as speaker McCarthy was removed.

Interviews with Republican house members on both FOX News and CNN sounded much like this.

"How can we ask the voters to let us govern our country, if we can't even govern ourselves?" 😏

Can you imagine a democrat speaker being removed?
No, because the dems would support their own no matter how criminal their behavior.

1. There is no proof about Joe Biden. Even leading republicans have stated so. It’s a bucket of nothing, they’re pushing for trump being indicted twice.

2. There are no Marxists pulling democratic strings. And just for good measure: there are no Jews, Illuminati, Area-51 aliens or whatever pulling strings either.
It’s business and money. Same as with the republicans. That’s lobbying for you.

3. Stupid and petty move by the democrats, helping oust McCarthy. They should have abstained in that vote. Leave it up to the republicans; not interfere with their internal bucket of bad.

Because as Nikki Haley correctly said he's "the most unpopular politician in America". And it would surely lead to a government shutdown in November, which Republicans will be (accurately) blamed for.
