Similar thing happened when Fox admitted to lying about election fraud. It's better that we know what we're watching is fake.

@mott-the-hoople saidNot even when the talking heads at Fox sell their souls to Donald Trump?

@mott-the-hoople saidOh, corruption. Excuse me for reading the OP and thinking you started a thread about state run media. The most watched news in the country is being texting talking points by the white house chief of staff and it's got nothing to do with it?

How do you know this is real?
There is no header, nothing.
What makes you think this is only aimed at state run media and not just a general press release?
Does it look professional to you? Have you compared it to other governmental press releases, to see if it’s anywhere in the ball park?
Here’s what the White House’s press releases look like; indeed, it’s actually every single press release they’ve made:
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/statements-releases/
Just click a random one open. See how it looks? See how it reads?
Nothing like what your link offers, is it?
Now, you can search the entire archive (I’d stick to 12 September 2023, because that’s the date on the document you link to) and see if your document is up there.
I haven’t looked yet. Care to bet?
Or, are you going to tell me this is a secret memo sent out…
Uhuh.
