In the case of Mathew Shepard, who was gay, and pistol whipped by two men. One gets a double life sentence, for turning on the other, apparently mathews parents pulled a deal, so the other murder didn't get the death penalty....
would you have done the same, if mathew had been beaten, raped and hung on a fence in Oct, for 18 hours.
I must have a serious flaw in my character,, I would not.
