Trump threatens corporations with regulation and or scrutiny and then sends Michael Cohen around to collect protection money. While we may think of The Donald, or The Don as simply a name with humourous connotations, maybe the real joke is the extent to which selling protection is the modus operandi of The Donald's, Trump Organisation.

LOL...oh my the looniness of a lefty. Only problem with your theory is Trump is the king of deregulation. You may want to look at why Obama had all those regulations in place, you may be on to something.

Why did those corporations pay millions of dollars to the same shell corporation that Cohen created to conceal the payoff to Stormy Daniels?

Are you seriously denying the facts contained in that story?

Novartis paid Cohen $1.2 million in 2017 even though he essentially did nothing though he had promised "access to Trump and influential officials in the new administration". They declined to terminate the contract because:

Rather than attempt to cancel the contract, the company allowed it to lapse early in 2018 and not run the risk of ticking off the president. “It might have caused anger,” this person said.

They didn't cover that in the Daily Dot or the National Enquirer. 🙂

"You'll have to ask Michael Cohen," Trump said. "Michael is my attorney. You'll have to ask Michael."

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/05/politics/donald-trump-stormy-daniels/index.html

Oh, they'll be asking. There's a reason Trump went nuts (well more nuts than usual) when the Feds seized Cohen's records.

Trump: But, Michael would represent me and represent me on some things. He represents me — like with this crazy Stormy Daniels deal he represented me.

    http://time.com/5264555/donald-trump-statements-stormy-daniels-payoff/

The SD payoff was out of the same shell company that received millions from Novartis, A T & T, Korean Aerospace, Columbus Nova,( a Manhattan-based investment firm with close ties to sanctioned Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg), etc. etc. etc.

"In a striking coincidence, Trump had dinner with Novartis' soon-to-be CEO Vasant Narasimhan, along with other European executives, at the World Economic Forum in Davos shortly after the date of the final payment to Cohen."

I don't have to at this time. This case is not going to be resolved in the media, but based on the evidence brought forward. Cohen's records are in the hands of prosecutors and we'll have to see what eventually comes out. Trump has already publicly lied about matters relating to Cohen and may be complicit in Cohen's illegal campaign contribution; what else he is lying about I guess we'll see.

    Keep laughing, Mott.

I doubt you'll have any reason for amusement when the indictments start rolling in.

Seems like a deal compared to what Bill Clinton paid his whores and what Congressmen over the years paid off those women they sexually assaulted.

Now all of a sudden the Left is concerned about morality?

    LMAO!

    They are true idiots.
