In Canada, some religious group is upset that the Conservative Party rejected applications for the leadership of the Conservative Party (currently open).
The 2 candidates were openly pushing for banning abortion.

In fact the religious group has several platforms that went further.
Goals ??
Banning abortion
Banning contraception
Getting rid of secularism

Note that contraception actually reduces the need for abortion, so the ideals are contradictory to each other.

I'm pretty sure that the evangelical groups are more radical in the US than in Canada.
When some get upset that I bring up religious morality as a driving force in anti-abortion crusades, I am simply posting how I feel about this.

I said that I was pro (woman's) choice,
