Never in my life have I witnessed, outside of American politics, something so chaotic, corrupt, stupid, racist, sexist and funny as Boris Johnson’s reign over the last 3 years.

As a staunch socialist / communist (or as my friends call me: champaign socialist) I was always opposed to the wheelings and dealings of elected individuals (basically corrupted by the structures of power).
As I’ve grown older, my disdain has just broadend to fringe parties (like the socialists), the non-political and the religious, the woke and basically anyone with an opinon.
I can no longer tolerate politicians, activists or anti-activists.
I basically curse all their houses.
So, yeah, I’m sure as 💩 glad the Johnson has been discarded like the used condom he is, but I know full well that whoever follows him up will be just as bad. Whether tory or labour.
My only hope is that they fall as well.
Aye, my cynicism has become boundless.
Because everything that politics touches is tainted. And everything is groped by politics.

I.e. do you think their protests are seen as constructive, or are they shooting themselves in the foot?
I’ll give you a wee hint: even the Dutch king came out in support of proper compensation for them; before these demonstrations happened. Do you think he’d come out and support them now?
