In plain text, paying a deposit to reserve a phone does not create a binding agreement. Paying a hundred dollars up front isn't a deposit at all--it's an interest free loan to the Donald. If the company never makes the device available, then there never was a binding agreement--and if the company disappears, you just lost yer money, that's all.

This is how all of the Donald's deals work: "agreement" means that you agree with the Donald, but he might change his mind later, and then you're a sucker and a loser. This is how he runs all of his businesses. This is how he's running the country. This is how he's running international diplomacy in Iran and Ukraine.

Some reports are claiming (I haven't been able to verify this yet) that the phones are not new and not made in USA, but refurbished 3-yr-old Chinese ones, and that new ones (also Chinese) are available at amazon for 130 bucks.

Everything the man touches is fools' gold, and the MAGA people still don't recognize it, even when it smacks them in the face. I really wonder when the deal-breaker moment is going to come for them.

Lawmakers have asked the FTC to investigate, after the T1 provider stopped claiming on its web site that the phone would be "made in U.S.A.", for violations of truth in advertizing.

It will come as no surprise that the firm is under the direction of Donald Jr. and Eric Trump, but the advertizing specifically shows the image of the President.
