I think they deserve more than a thank you sh.

Oh, I dunno, how about actually giving them proper government health care might be a start that they were promised.

Sorry, didn't mean to crash the thread but just sitting here thinking about a loved one that is now dead thanks to the military and their fabulous health care system that the Left now wants for all of us.

And no, writing your Congressman does NOTHING and JAG lawyers will tell you what an epidemic it is to see veterans in need of decent medical help but are without it.

So when you see the various homeless veterans running around (and they are everywhere) because they gave their very lives for this country instead of pursuing a career to support themselves, just remember, the government they laid down their lives to serve cares nothing about them.

Most of them helped invade other countries in wars of choice. Isn't it a bit dishonest to say they fought to defend our country or our freedom? In Vietnam they fought for French imperialism and lost because it was an unjust war. They didn't accomplish much but kill a lot of people.

I feel sorry for Veterans being used as pawns, but I don't appreciate everything they have done. Marxism is a political ideology that is a choice. Nobody has a right to kill people over their political choices.

@whodey
Which branch did you serve? I did 4 years in the USAF and got an honorable discharge. What about you?

Not me, a loved one.

A buddy of mine and I were going to join but I ended up not going. He did though and got sent over a gazillion times to the desert and cracked and got out. Luckily, he is just fine and did not have any health problems, however the person I wrote about did not make it out of boot camp.

Incidentally, thanks Trump for getting out of Syria.

So what you're saying is that there should be high-quality well-funded government health care?

What there needs to be? Private enterprises selling health insurance, and all that that entails. What in the HELL does government have to do with it .?.??? First, govt provides for ALL health care of the poor. No brainer. 40M people. Then, the rest of us buy health insurance..Kazet, I don’t have any idea what your comment would add to this common sense.
