Who cares where they come from? Ever seen a gun stamped "Made in Mexico"? They gotta come from somewhere else, what's the big deal? Odd how people say mexican gang violence is America's fault because of the demand for drugs in America, than they blame America for the demand for guns in Mexico.
dee derp de dur dee derdily der, everything is America's fault, nobody else is responsible for their problems.
However, I agree that Mexico is most responsible for fixing the problem, and yet they only have one side of the border and just as the US has done so much more to keep immigrantion from the border under tight controls, you cannot deny that it can and should do at least as much on its side to do its share of preventing guns from being shipped out. It's just not as politicially convenient and doesn't keep any nativists happy, it just makes gun-owners mad.
