Ukraine is west of the Urals, the second largest country in Europe, by land mass.

@moonbus

Is the Urals the border between Asia and Europe?

I thought everything under Russia was Asia πŸ˜„

Geographically, yes, the Urals are the border. Russia straddles the Urals, and so is considered part of both Europe and Asia.

Politically, Russia is not European and does not subscribe to what are broadly European values and government structures.
