National Guard OK vs Dem George Wallace? Why not now?

Debates

What a simple comparison. George refused to comply with desegregation in 1965, and now we have you Palestinians hating jews and destroying property, carrying guns, the works.
People like me are very confused with what points you are trying to make.

Ask your pals, the Proud Boys, the Oath Keepers, the Three Percenters, who are all no doubt enroute to LA, if they're not already there. They're probabl;y the ones looting and destroying property at night, just like they did in Portland. I've seen websites claiming it's antifa, but that's literally too stupid to believe.

Yeah, me too....i just don't know which way to go on this one. Prob why Trump had to step in. It is out of hand, we don't know who the enemy is, like you say. But is somebody, isn't it, qyuasi blossom?
Are you perchance part of the enemy? (Careful Icey may be monitoring!!)

Your babbling word salad is hard to interpret but the National Guard were federally deployed to defend desegregation BECAUSE the governor was using State troopers to block Black students from going to their classes! The Guard were there to oppose armed and trained employees of the State not to attack civilians.

You suggest that that the Guard was acceptable because....let me get this straight.... (jesus kid, you waste a lot of time of us up on the hill...)....let me get this straight...
So the National Guard has no other duty? They are good to stop Alabama guard from shooting civilians or whatever, but not to step in to CA to keep the unknowns from burning the city down? What if Trump did nothing? The queer Newsome did nothing /. What happens?
The bigger question....what would you rather the President have done?

Word salad. Sans meaning.

Trump should have let CA handle its own affairs instead of spending Federal tax dollar money micromanaging internal State concerns.

Nothing.

Nothing was going on until he sent the military in.

100 people protested the first night.

It's like he was waiting for an excuse. He planned this.

The second night, after the troops arrived, there was a thousand protesters.

Hello, Thousand Young. I asked this above, could you give us your thoughts on these two National Guard exercises, which I'd posted above??

Your writing is so confused and unclear so I cannot understand what you want me to answer.

I think the governor should be the one determining what the Guard does inside the State unless the governor is actively defying federal law with State forces.

Remember these people (the Guard) don’t usually have to serve most of the time. They have civilian jobs and lives which are on pause because of Trump. They should be living their regular lives to help the economy instead of acting as riot police under Federal command.

Your second para says the government should decide. Jesus

You say that Wallace had his guard holding people off while he blocked the door.

He was actively defying federal law. You are saying the NGuard can step in if the governor defies federal law. Like, maybe, standing by why his state or city are torn down.

THEN YOU Start writing about these guys having civilian jobs!?!?!?!? What in the hell?! Everyone on the forum, I assume, have had N'Guard duty, so yeah, we know, are civilians too. Your point? You are like writing Sue.

I will take a break from you rest of day, nothing personal.

When are you going to stop being so incredibly gullible as to believe every absurd statement from Trump? LA wasn't going to be "obliterated" or "burned to the ground" because of relatively small amount of violence on Friday and Saturday; the city has almost 9000 police officers and the crowds numbered in the hundreds at most.
