i like the the suns. picked to win at the beginning of the season. but here is a question i will check back on monday but be free to answer. if if the championship was today who would be playing. i think suns and tough won but indiana. if you diagree reply back.
I think the toughest team this year will be the Heat because Shaq is out to prove a point. He has a team around him that will support his quest and let him lead.

Originally posted by thecheat2Sure but I think nobody would deny that Shaq will be one of the crucial elements if the Heat are able to pull it off. I didn't mean to imply Shaq was the leader but he is still disputably the most dominant force in the game.

I think Shaq, like Kobe, has too big of an ego but I think Shaq will work harder to make his team better whereas Kobe doesn't demonstrate he has that ability.
No question, would rather have Phil and Shaq. I, for one, am tired of how our society caters to children who happen to excel at sports. I just finished watching Randy Moss's shenanigans during the Vikings/Packers game.
It's digusting how professions that "contribute" to society such as teachers are paid so poorly whereas if you can catch a ball or dunk one, you are paid a gagillion bucks.
Kobe is bad for the game. Even worse is Ron Artest. Maybe Charles Barkeley was right about not being a 'role model' but at least they should act like adults. Personally, I think sports and the people who are paid to play them forget that they are an extension of "entertainment".

however, one question for you joe.
how is the west the weaker conference because of one player?
they still have kg, duncan, kobe (no matter what anyone says, he still is one of the top three players in the leage), and they brought in Tmac. throw in Amare, marion, dirk, and nash and i think the west is still by far the better conference
