@AThousandYoung
Oh that was evident in 2022.....but some are less inclined to draw consequences than others.

Next? Come again, what now? Irish elections in a couple of weeks. Everyone knows the fate of the global economy rests with the Irish government.

Billionaires paying less taxes is not a cause of poverty. It may be a reason why governments have less to spend on giving handouts. Govts giving less handouts does not cause poverty. I dont think you understand what causes poverty. Do some research.

Billionaire absentee landlords sending police to evict the poor from their investment properties shows us that billionaires literally use government muscle to cause homelessness to protect these insanely rich people’s investments.

It’s not much different from how capitalism caused mass starvation while exporting food for profit in Ireland and India when they were under British occupation.

Oh .. I see. The law should not be applied to delinquent renters if the landowner is a billionaire. But if the landowner is middle class then the law must take action.

You really think your logic is sound?

Insanely rich people have rights too.

When refugees legally apply for asylum the Right says, “we have to do something about this!”

When prisoners legally get sex change operations, the Right says “we have to do something about this!”

When people vote legally with mail in ballots, the Right says “we have to do something about this!”

When the wealthy are taxed, the Right says “we have to do something about this!”

When landlords are criticized for causing homelessness, the Right says “it’s legal so it’s morally correct and nothing should be done about it.”

Hypocrites.

What rights do you think the insanely wealthy have that are relevant to this topic? The property rights of absentee landlords were created and are enforced…by the government. They aren’t inalienable natural rights.

Dont have a clue what all that is about, but landlords do not cause homelessness.

You seriously have some issues.

As a resident of Johnson County, KS, born and raised, I am deeply concerned about the increasing dominance of out-of-state investors in our local housing market. This trend is not only causing an exodus of money from our community but also making housing unaffordable for locals.
