Could he have been some kind of super secret operative the Army made out to be a loser getting discharged and sent into N Korea just to see what kind of operation their security service is running?
Or is he really just a total loser retard?

@moonbus saidHe was dropped off at the airport, got on a bus to the border, joined a tourist group, then ran to N Korea and laughed as he was doing it.
My guess is, he had a panic attack, bolted, and later regretted it.
Don't think it was a panic attack, but I agree he regretted it later.
He'll probably get a made-for TV movie about how he faced racism, etc in the military and was forced to run to NK.
