No it’s not, that’s why it’s a slug, this also isn’t what was written. Why load with a single slug in this case when buckshot would better serve the weapon. He had pistols, was it actually a slug.
AI Overview
"Ammunition: Shotgun Slugs 101A bullet slug is a heavy, single-piece solid projectile designed to be fired from a firearm, most commonly a shotgun. Unlike shotgun pellets (shot), a slug is one large, solid chunk—often lead—used for increased accuracy and range, typically up to 100 yards, for hunting or defense. They are used for big game hunting, in regions restricted to shotguns, and for home defense."

Key Usage Examples of Bullet Slugs:
"Shotgun Hunting: Primarily used for medium-to-large game (deer, elk) because a single, heavy slug provides better knockdown power at range than smaller shot, especially in shotgun-only zones.
Self-Defense/Tactical: Employed in home defense scenarios where higher barrier penetration is required, often used in 12-gauge or 20-gauge shotguns.
Smoothbore Shotguns: "Rifled" slugs are designed with fins or grooves to stabilize flight when fired through a smooth, non-rifled shotgun barrel.
Rifled Shotgun Barrels: "Sabot" slugs are used with specialized rifled barrels to provide high-accuracy, long-range performance (up to 200+ yards) similar to a rifle.
Airguns: "Airgun slugs" are a modern, high-precision, solid-body pellet used in high-powered pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) airguns.
Synonyms and Related Terms:
Solid Projectile / Single-piece Slug: Highlighting it is one piece, not multiple pellets.
Shotgun Slug: Specifically a slug designed for shotgun shells.
Sabot Slug: A small-caliber projectile housed in a plastic sleeve (sabot) for rifled barrels.
Rifled Slug / Foster Slug: A lead slug with grooves, typically for smoothbore barrels.
Brenneke Slug: A specific type of robust, German-designed solid slug.
Bullet: Often used interchangeably when talking about the projectile itself rather than the full cartridge."

Why They Are Called Slugs:
The term often refers to the heavy, single piece of metal (or "lead"😉 that acts as a projectile. It can also, in some contexts, refer to a projectile that has been fired and thus stripped of its cartridge casing."

You really are more stupid than you look. 😆

Here kitty kitty kitty.

It is not staged. It is real, but it is not an assassination attempt.

It was an attempt to give Trump the Nobel Peace Prize.

Ballrooms, magic and disappearing bullets.

Sweet Jesus, you can't make this stuff up.

One pellet? 😆 Clearly he got that shotgun shell from you. Kind of like humans have millions of brain cells, and you clearly only have two. 😆

Where is the other 25 to 50 pellets? I wonder how long it will take them to find all those other pellets. 😆

No sir. I lost interest in this story before it happened.

These assassination attempts on trump are so pathetically amateurish, that it’s ridiculous.

I mean, look at the amount of school shootings you have… so many people with guns committing mass murder… yet everyone gunning for trump couldn’t shoot a dead fish in a barrel of dead fish.

Come on America, you can do better!

One in four Americans think this was staged. That's a big number.
