NSA spied on Tucker over Putin

Tucker Carlson accused the NSA of spying on his personal communications when he tried to schedule an interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

I want to hear Putin express his opinions in an interview so we know Russia's side of the story. Some people are obviously afraid of what the American people might learn.

Why stop at that though? I want to hear interviews from lots of people like Xí Jìnpíng, Kim Jung Un and all sort of leaders the west demonizes. How can it hurt to listen?

The NSA spies on everyone they can, BECAUSE they can. We have known this since Snowdon spilled the beans several years ago. Tell us something we don‘t already know.

Assuming Tucker isn't lying (a dubious assumption, but one we'll make for sake of argument), so what? It's common sense that our intelligence agencies are going to gather information when our citizens are speaking to foreign government officials esp. from nations we have a hostile relationship with.

AFAIK, the airing of interviews with Putin isn't banned in the US and ...[text shortened]... ments and views aren't easily available on the internet. So I'm not sure what the bitching is about.
