Apparently the Bowles-Simpson Obama budget just went down in flames in the House with the vote 414-0. That's right, not even one Democrat voted for it. An embarrasment to be sure. Why? It is because it does NOTHING to address the fiscal woes of the federal governemnt. Nothing.
No worries though moon, your man Barry is doing well in the polls and is bullet proof, even after Obamacare goes down in flames as well. Americans are indeed clueless lemmings.

Don't you mean the Bowles-Simpson deficit-reduction plan went down in a 382-38 vote?
The GOP is fighting to have it voted on in the Senate as well, but will be a tough sell for Dirty Harry and company who do not wish to embarrass the Pres.

Originally posted by FMFThe way I read it was that this was the second attempt, but perhpas you are right, perhaps Obama was all alone in this recent attempt. If so, it is that much funnier to me.

Originally posted by FMFTo avoid a few dozen never ending posts with no rhyme or reason, I retract the name of the budget. It seems as though I read the wrong name of the budget. What is known, however, is that Obama presented a budget that was voted on in the House and was rejected 414-0 which includes bot GOP and Democrat alike.
You said that "not even one Democrat voted for [the Bowles-Simpson deficit-reduction plan]"; are we looking at the same link?
There, is that better FMF?
