Well, to put it as diplomatically as one can:

“Because, you fat fvcking retard, nobody thinks your war’s a great idea, you obviously have no plan, you friends with every evil dictatorship… oh… and you threatened fvcking Greenland and Denmark.”

Duh.
Luckily the US has intelligent people on their side, like Heggy explaining to us that the Straight of Harmuz is open, except for the Iranians shooting at ships filled with oil in it.

Uhuh. Can’t get bigger brained than that.

God damn, bunch of morons.

The only way to get help is to be seen to be willing to give help. Trump spent his first term and much of his current term bashing NATO. Little wonder that NATO is in no hurry to offer Trump any help, now that Trump has engineered a crisis in the Strait of Hormuz.

Do I have to point out, for the umpteenth time, that T45 tore up a nuclear weapons limitation treaty which was functioning and verifiable, and that if T45 had honored that treaty, there would be no pretext to invade Iran now. The only reason he shredded that treaty was that it had been negotiated during Obama's term, and he is petty and vindictive and wanted to undo anything and everything Obama did.

The current situation in the Strait of Hormuz is entirely Trump's own fault. He shat in the bed, now he has to sleep in it.

Shav - You have a talent for writing exactly what I'm thinking.

Thank God for elections over here. This slow-motion train wreck will be gone one day.

Of course, you and Shavixmir are two idiot peas in the same moron pod. Blocking the Strait of Hormuz has a minimal effect on the US. Trump has no real interest in that. He called on others to do something becasue they are the ones in line to suffer the most.

According to Google the countries or areas most affected are :
****************************
.... major Asian economies, specifically China, India, Japan, and South Korea.

A sustained blockade of this narrow channel between Iran and Oman would cause a major global energy supply crisis, as these nations rely heavily on Gulf oil and gas to fuel their industries.

Key Entities Most Affected by a Blockade:
- China: As the world's largest crude oil importer, China is arguably the most exposed, with over 40% of its oil imports passing through the Strait. However, its significant stockpiles and ability to substitute some oil with alternative energy sources (LNG, coal) might provide a buffer against short-term price shocks.
- India: With over 60% of its oil imports coming from the Middle East and a large share of its LNG purchases linked to the Strait, India faces a "dual physical and financial shock" due to skyrocketing energy costs and supply shortages.
- Japan & South Korea: These countries are highly dependent on the Middle East, with roughly 70–95% of their crude oil imports passing through the Strait. They have limited storage and are highly vulnerable to energy price shocks.
- Pakistan & Bangladesh: Due to limited storage and procurement flexibility, these nations are exceptionally vulnerable to immediate power-sector disruptions and shortages.
- Persian Gulf Producers (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq): Their primary export route for crude oil and LNG is blocked, severely cutting revenue. While some have pipelines that can bypass the Strait (like the East-West pipeline in
- Saudi Arabia), these can only carry a fraction of the total volume.
Global Consumers (including the US and Europe): Though less dependent on Gulf oil imports directly, these nations will be heavily impacted by rising gasoline prices and global inflation.
*************************************

Well, someone here seemingly hasn’t caught on to Iran’s strategy yet.

Luckily there are so many nations rushing to help trumpy boy and his rimmers out.

He's still got a little under 8 months to provoke such domestic outrage that he can declare martial law, grant himself 'emergency powers', and call off elections indefinitely. Sending ICE to MN was merely a dress rehearsal.

Joe Kent, the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, announced his resignation on Tuesday, citing his concerns about the justification for military strikes in Iran and saying he “cannot in good conscience” back the Trump administration’s war.

“Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby,” Kent said in a statement posted on social media.

I'd trust the Grinch before I'd trust Trump.

I'm not sanguine about Blair either. Blair was Bush the Lesser's poodle and went along with the false WMD schtick as a pretext to invade Iraq. There was no ISIS before Bush and Blair invaded Iraq--ISIS was called into existence specifically to drive the Americans out of Iraq, and the world is still battling ISIS in the aftermath, 20 years later.

Top U.S. intelligence officials are beginning to come out and say to the press that there is no credible evidence of nuclear weaponry in Iran either, as my linked article above indicates. Trump is very much mistaken if he thinks he can unilaterally declare this war over, take his ball and go home. There will be hell to pay for a long long time yet, because of Trump's Iran 'excursion.'

Seemingly trump is seducing NATO countries to come and support him… by screaming that that they’re useless and that they were needed in the first place.

Yes. Seemingly, trump is to politics which the maga-supporters on this site are to incel.
