Huh? You see, he says that, but does not explain it. Like you fellers.
Free market vs govt control. How much success, how many millionaires, are made by the government, other than fraudsters who take govt money.? And I say this not about the money, I say it about success and productivity. Self reliance. That which is provided by you for your families. A concept foreign to you breeders of socialism. I don't call you sociaiists,,,,,,,the socialists will live on the hill as you get by, down below..

You American conservatives want things both ways, do you not? You insist on "government control" when it comes to ensuring your currency is safe and stable, when you want federal disaster relief, when your conservative farmers want their government monetary subsidies, when you want law enforcement to protect you and your family, when you want regulations that govern accounting practices, medical practices, food safety, water quality and countless other things you take for granted, but let a lawmaker suggest you pass a law that keeps your firearms out of the hands of the mental retarded, a criminal, or suggest a billionaire or a large corporation pay more than "0" in taxes, and you whine like mules about government control.

You are mixing 2 things together.
On the one hand there is govt performing legitimate functions (courts, police, national defense, protecting property rights, enforcing contracts, food safety standards, etc.)
On the other , Government directing economic outcomes (controlling prices, deciding winners and losers, redistributing wealth, subsidizing favored industries, restricting voluntary transactions, etc.)
A freemarket conservative like me typically supports the first while being skeptical of the second.
Supporting limited government has never meant supporting “zero” government. It means government should do the things only government can do and avoid doing the things that free people can do for themselves.
I could elaborate, but could you tell me if you agree with that premise or not?

I agree that you American conservatives want government oversite only when it benefits you.
I also agree that most of our teenagers here in France read and write the English language better than you do, so I'm very skeptical that you're qualified to teach much of anything...including this "stuff"

@paradox4 saidThis pitiful post says nothing, it answers nothing. It is flipping liberal response when there is nothing else left to say. I have nailed him in this argument, I win this argument and he can tell me what a bad poster. I am all day long.

A winner can hardly be a loser.
* actually, I stand corrected. His post does say something. It says that the French , including him, speak perfect English. They also consider the US dollar to be the world currency, which is another issue. But a winning issue.
The French language is hardly ever mentioned or spoken here in the United States. We don’t need the French and we don’t need their language. The French, on the other hand, need us and they need our language to get along in this world.
I am really chalking it up this morning.
