At first Obama was being touted as a great candidate by the left, however, the right countered by saying he was inexperienced and was a draw only because of his youth, energy, and skin color. Conversely, Palin is now being touted as a great running mate with a draw in terms of her youth, beauty, and gender. However, the left is now countering that her inexperience and gender have nothing to do with her being a great running mate.
So here is the question, laying aside race and sex, which candidate is the most experienced and why? Which would be a better president and why?
I saw one of those political shows this morning on NBC. It was the one that had Tim Russert. The guy who replaced Tim asked a Repulican representative about Palin's inexperience.
The Republican commented that she had as much experience as Obama, but the talking head replied something along the lines of the American people have voted for Obama and therefore that gave Obama the right to be on the ticket.
I thought to myself, did the Amercian people put Obama on the ticket or was it the Democrats?

Anyhew, I think that one of the reasons McCain chose her was to raise such questions.
