Don't think that us Euro's is leading the way on being gay. Its you guys with have your sitcoms, glad to be gay rallies, queer eye..... etc. From your posts I always assummed you were from LA, but now I realise that you and your negroe buddies could be from anywhere in the US. True that it was the Greeks that were enlightened but that was thousands of years ago. Get with it, the US is clearly the gayest place in the world, be proud!
Another positive is that more and more people are agreeing with your confessions of being stupid. I hear most people in the US are finally realising what an idiot G Dubya is. Soon it won't just be Euros who use the word jammer as the ultimate insult.
There are still some negatives. The confession that in an effort to find out more about your feminine side you are continually touching your balls, is quite frankly a bit rude. This thread was started as a diatribe against nationalism and patriotism. I don't happen to believe it's a bad thing.
When war starts the situation is rather different. Russia was attacked and defended itself. If you see that as patriotism, then it was a good thing.
I call it natural survival.
Nearly every war is preceded by a rise in the feelings of patriotism/nationalism.
If I am honest, then nationalism can be a driving force similar to religion. However these driving forces often run over the innocent. I suppose there are times when you need millions of your countrymen to die for you.
