is there such a thing? as a national movement?
If the purveyors of a communist state ever claimed to be "peaceful," then they would be as ignorant of the main tennants of Marxism as they are of economics. Marxism, by it's nature, must expand and encompass the globe. It is revolutionary, not evolutionary.

true. communism only works when everyone buys into the system. Small communal villages work well, because everyone wants to be there, when people don't contribute, they are forced from the village
Is that what will happen if Obama or Hillary impose their Marxist healthcare system upon us?

Neither tyrannical nor utopian.
I wonder if the peoples in Afghanistan, Granada, Cuba, Iraq, Vietnam, etc. would agree with you.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cuba#Education

It is required that all applicants to universities in Cuba gain a letter from the government (the "Committee for the Defence of the Revolution"😉[122] stating that they have a good "political and moral background" in order to apply. There have been claims that such letters are withheld because of an applicant (or relative) being politically undesirable. The validity of these claim or how often letters are refused is not easily verifiable and so there is no consensus on whether this amounts to widespread political oppression or just a few isolated cases.

Just because change is revolutionary, doesn't mean it isn't peaceful.

when you consider the fact that the world doesn't want communism what other way would the stated objective be achieved?

of course not seeing as there is not one world government, which i guess you want..My point is if the world wanted it---it could then develop peacfully as you stated, but since the world doesn't want it it could ONLY develop un-peacefully.

Eh? Surely if the world wants communism it should have it?
