Pharlap murdered

Its official results today prove pharlap was murdered by a huge dose of arsenic .
Who was responsible ?
Was it the mafia ?, as they were controlling horseracing at the time .
Was it a rival american horse trainer?
Was it a bookie ? who stood to loose thousands.
Has anybody got any thoughts of who might of done it .
