I think that rather to propose a debate, you sent a beautiful message of hope and love, based on our Lord Jesus Christ. And that is something worth of respect.
What message? Where? In the link? What's the use of that? Most people don't read links where the poster can't be bothered to comment on it, summarize it, or extract a debatable point out of it. If the link refers to some allegedly "beautiful message of hope and love, based on our Lord Jesus Christ" then take it to the Spirituality Forum. Don't just spam up the Debates Forum. Have some respect, zeeblebot!

Not a problem for me, of course, but that is not to say that these amounts of money are insignificant to ma ...[text shortened]... ach year passes. But protests will continue to be common fayre on the TV news, for sure.
$3 to $4 dosen't sound much unless expressed as a percentage. Are they raising the price of fuel or removing subsidies? There's a big difference.

What do you ride, I've just bought a TMX155 here in the Philippines.

Thanks to zeeblebot, this Thread has no topic, issue or theme to debate. So I'll talk to you Wajoma, instead. With pleasure.

The price of fuel has quadrupled in the last 2 years or so, or will have by next month when the expected 30% hike kicks in. They are removing subsidies. Some argued that the subsidizing of petrol was a 'pro-poor' policy, but it wasn't. It was unfocussed, very expensive, unsustainable - i.e. bad policy. Petrol is currently 50 U.S. cents a litre.

(I have a "bebek" ['duck'] for pottering round the city: Suzuki Shogun 125)

Did Jesus really help them land safely? Is it because they prayed and
prayed? Was it really, really stupid to take off without first fueling the plane?

Those are the questions being debated I'd think.

The original poster couldn't be bothered to pose a question. If you're right, and the intended question was "Did Jesus really help them land safely?" well, that's a "yes/no" question, really. Not really a debate. And if people wanted to debate that, it really ought to be one for Spirituality.

Personally I interpret zeeblebot's OP as spam.
