Is it considered plagiarism when you accidently submit the rough draft of a document electronically. As in, someone means to cite their sources, and they do in their final draft, but the document they turn in is not their final draft.

How can this happen:

1. You do not save before you upload your file.
2. Their could be 2 instances of the document in different locations on your computer, and you upload the wrong one.
3. You have 2 versions of the document open, and you accidently save over your final draft.

You are pointing this out because it happened to you?

If it is not a "final draft" - i.e. for someone to unofficially review - then it is not plagiarism as it is still a work in progress.

If you submitted an incomplete piece of work as a final draft then it is plagiarism and/or stupidity.
